Making espresso at home is messy business, and everyone always says the trickiest part is removing the grinds from inside the portafilter. Professional coffee bars and coffee shops use knock boxes to store spent espresso grounds, suitably titled because they are subjected to repetitive knocking and tapping to dislodge the espresso after use.
The boxes come in a range of sizes dependent upon the amount of espresso you will be producing; other sizes available are 18 X 19 CM, 28 X 34 CM, 165 X 172, 263 X 32.
