Who knew there was so much science behind the grinding of coffee beans? If the grind is too rough the coffee will brew too slowly, and flavours will not fully develop. If it is too fine, however, the coffee will lack aroma and incorporate a more bitter taste. This is what we call the 'Goldylocks of Grinding' - it's cliché but you have to get it just right.
The way to do this effectively is two have two different machines, with separate grind sizes. The Krups Coffee Mill is a twin blade coffee mill, oval shaped for even grinding and can grind enough coffee to stretch to 15 cups. It can also grind dry spices to create and tamper with flavourings, allowing you to truly express yourself by applying your own preferences.
A lid activation safety switch also ensures the coffee grinder will not start until locked into place.
